Job DetailsJob Location: Houston, TX 77035Position Type: Full TimeScope of Work:   Participate in the analysis, design, development and support of data integration solutions using Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), GoAnywhere, and possibly other data integration tools and techniques.  Responsible for gathering requirements, performing analysis/design, development, testing, documentation, support and user training to maintain and improve data integrations between various systems used at WPI including JD Edwards, Service Pro, and other systems. Use analysis techniques to troubleshoot complex issues to resolution.   Primary Job Responsibilities: Act as a technical analyst, collaborating directly with business users to gather requirements, understand workflows, and design integration solutions. Design, develop, test, and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC, GoAnywhere, and other data integration tools. Utilize Informatica’s database components for staging, metadata, and integration repositories. Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Manage web services and API integrations with JD Edwards (JDE) and ServicePro systems. Coordinate with third-party technical support providers for advanced troubleshooting and detailed technical issues as needed. Document integration processes, data flows, and technical specifications for both business and technical audiences. Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and adherence to industry best practices. Support and troubleshoot existing integrations in collaboration with users and third-party support partners.   QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:   BS/BA degree in computer science or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years experience working with data integrations tools in general with some experience with Informatica IDMC. Minimum 5 years of SQL development experience, Microsoft SQL server is preferred.   Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)   Proven experience developing data integrations using SQL, GoAnywhere, and Informatica IDMC. Hands-on knowledge of Informatica’s database components for staging, metadata, and repository management. Experience designing, building, and consuming web services/APIs for system integrations. Strong user interaction and requirements analysis skills, with experience working directly with business stakeholders. Ability to coordinate with third-party support providers for detailed technical troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Familiarity with other ETL tools or data integration platforms. Understanding of enterprise data management best practices, data governance, and security. Preferred Prior experience integrating with JD Edwards (JDE) and ServicePro, or similar ERP and field service platforms. Preferred experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
