About this role
Contract Warehouse Assistant (Loading department) is responsible for supporting the supervision of daily loading operations, including coordination with cross-functional departments, monitoring workforce performance, managing inventory-related activities, and assist to preparing operational reports for management review. The role ensures that all loading activities are executed efficiently and in compliance with established operational standards.
A) GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the shift leader to supervise staff.
- Assist in training operation staff to perform allocated roles.
- Monitor and control on the staging for all roles cages.
- Assist cross department with any queries or requests.
- Monitor daily truck plan, arrangement and pulling.
- IST and Manifest monitoring.
- Daily Operation Report update.
- Able to perform loading and unloading tasks.
B) QUALIFICATIONS, SKILL/EXPERIENCE:
- Able to read and understand basic English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least 1 year of working experience in warehouse/distribution center/logistic field.
- Able to count and read numbers, e.g. 1 until 100.
- Ability to use handheld barcode scanners and RF system for daily activities.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and skills.
- Able to commit for 1-year contract.
- Can work on shift rotations, weekends and public holidays.
