About this role

Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation & Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have up to 1-2 years of experience in data analytics and reporting, with a strong emphasis on using Power BI and a foundational understanding of Power Automate. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to help drive informed business decisions and building and maintaining simple automated flows to help maximize efficiency.


RESPONSIBILITIES 

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Gather data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.

Reporting:

  • Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Present findings and insights through clear and concise visualizations.

Automation

  • Build and maintain simple Power Automate flows.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot existing flows as needed.
  • Document workflow logic and support consistent operational use.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with different departments to understand their reporting and automation needs.
  • Assist in the creation of ad-hoc reports and flows as required by various teams.

Data Management:

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting tools.
  • Participate in data quality improvement initiatives.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and reporting.
  • Propose improvements to existing reporting processes and tools.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Up to 1-2 years of experience in a reporting or data analysis role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including building and maintaining dashboards and reports.
  • Foundational understanding of Power Automate and experience building or modifying simple flows.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with data management and visualization tools.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
