Opportunity Awaits- Now Hiring a Multi Site Post Collections Manager ... 

This position will support Waste Pro's Tri State Region and cover locations in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

The Waste Pro Regional Post Collections Manager (RPCM) will have direct P&L and operational oversite for all Waste Pro Post Collection/ Disposal facilities within an identified area/region. Post Collection facilities may include landfills, transfer stations, material recovery facilities, yard waste facilities, and others where disposal activities are conducted.

The RPCM will ensure that daily site procedures are followed, to include safety, environmental, training, and equipment maintenance policies. The RPCM will develop strategies to ensure that facilities are operating efficiently to maintain compliance and profitability.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Waste Pro RPCM will:

* Maintain safe operations at post collection facilities

* Manage post collection facilities in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

* Ensure proper training and maintain certifications of Waste Pro disposal personnel

* Ensure consistent, compliant, and profitable operations

* Monitor productivity and cost controls

* Work in collaboration with local Waste Pro Engineering Services

* Maintain ongoing oversite of all permitting and forecast potential issues

* Meet and build relationships with officials from environmental agencies, local, state and federal officials regarding operations

* Train, mentor, and counsel staff on issues regarding the operation of post collection facilities

* Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of Waste Pro disposal facilities through inspections, training and preventive maintenance programs with managers and employees

* Involvement in new acquisitions, expansions, or modifications, to include P&L development, site permitting, etc.

* Collaborate with Vice President of Post Collections, Regional, and Corporate Teams in developing synergies and analyzing growth opportunities, to include P&L development, fleet equipment valuation, and personnel needs

* Travel to all sites within their Area/Region

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.

* Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, used by Waste Pro .

* Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

* Ability to generate and manage a P&L

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* Education: Bachelor's Degree, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of relevant work experience.

* Experience: 5 - 10 years managing multiple landfills, including MSW and C&D landfills, and/or transfer stations, and/or material recovery facilities. State certification/ license to operate a disposal site will be needed as required.

* Required to exert physical effort in handling objects up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

* Normal setting for this job is carried out in an office or disposal facility, and may include a variety of environment conditions, including wide variation of temperatures, weather conditions, including but not limited to heat, cold, snow, rain, wind, noise, vibrations, fumes, odors, and dust

* Travel will be required to disposal sites on a regular basis
