I. Job Summary
The Pricing Set -up Specialist is responsible for the set-up of the bid initiation spreadsheet and client baseline. This position is also responsible for additional reporting upon sales request for CSRs, phone calls to vendors and follow up as needed.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work independently with large multiple data files, proficient in excel & work in a fast paced environment.

  • Validate services via vendor invoices, vendor calls and data exhibits
  • Prepare client baseline for bid template from customer file and/or hard copy invoices.
  • Request and generate existing query file pulls from both ACORN & MAS for current service & rates information and migrate data files together.
  • Request and generate additional data extracts for additional ancillary service information such as extra pick-ups and step tonnage reports.
  • Compile, validate, research and confirm final service & rates for bid baseline.
  • Follow-up with vendors, make phone calls and confirm actual current services & rates that are missing.
  • Responsible for pulling, scrubbing & preparing tonnage reports from MAS for new RFP requests for existing locally managed WM services.
  • Responsible for CSRs upon sales request for current customer spend on WM existing business.
  • Responsible for obtaining MAS Fuel, Environmental & RCR surcharges and allocate by account to baseline for existing WM business.
  • Responsible for pulling MAS service extract & ACORN extract for Franchise and/or S-code validation.

IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
  • Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • None required.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

  • Ability to excel in a fluid team, face-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Excel (Intermediate/advanced level)
  • Critical thinking ability
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including oral and written

Setting for this job is: hybrid setting in the Lombard, IL area.

 

The expected base pay for this hybrid position is $23.80. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
