Your New Role...
We are seeking a Senior Privacy Technology Manager with a strong technical background in Python, Node.js, or Java, and hands-on experience with privacy-enabling technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate privacy requirements into scalable technical solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to roll up their sleeves while guiding a small team of developers. Senior Privacy Technology Manager will be responsible for architecting and building privacy technologies—leveraging APIs, AI, and cloud infrastructure—while also mentoring and managing a globally distributed team. This is a hybrid role combining leadership, strategy, and direct technical execution.

Your Role Accountabilities
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and mentor a small team of developers.
Define and drive the privacy tech roadmap in alignment with legal, compliance, and business goals.
Translate privacy requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Hands-On Development
Actively contribute to coding, architecture, and system design.
Conduct code reviews and guide best practices in development.
Build and maintain privacy automation tools, APIs, and data inventory systems.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Manage onboarding of brands to privacy platforms and APIs.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts across legal, engineering, and product teams.
Present technical strategies and progress to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
Extensive experience in software development or privacy engineering.
Solid experience in managing developers or technical teams.
Strong experience with Node.js, Python, or Java.
Deep understanding of privacy principles (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Proven experience in global or cross-regional roles.
Comfortable working in a small, agile team with high ownership.
Familiarity with data mapping, lineage, and cataloging tools.
Knowledge of data governance and information security principles.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
Not Required but preferred experience
Experience with LLMs and unstructured data analysis.
Background in media, entertainment, or tech industries.
Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPT, or OneTrust Professional.
Familiarity with streaming and similar products/services.
