Your New Role

      The Production Financial Compliance Coordinator is a key member of the Global Production Finance Center of Excellence (CoE), responsible for supporting financial compliance across production operations. This role assists the Head of Financial Compliance and Managers with administrative and compliance functions to ensure accurate, efficient, and auditable financial processes.

      Key responsibilities include managing schedules, facilitating cross-team communications, maintaining the Production Accounting Manual, and supporting audit activities. The coordinator performs on-site audit field work under supervision and retrieves physical documentation as needed, helping maintain the integrity of financial operations.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Provide general administrative support for the department, including scheduling meetings, facilitating communications across business units, and organizing and maintaining files as well as the Accounting Manual.

  • Assist in gathering and retrieving the proper documentation needed for various audits.

  • Perform on-site audit field work under supervision and assist in reviewing the business unit’s processes.

  • Manage special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-2 years administrative or operational experience in a production or corporate environment.

  • Production accounting experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Strong administrative skills: scheduling, document management, and cross-team communication.

  • Ability to follow audit procedures and apply basic audit concepts under supervision.

  • Knowledge of production accounting processes, including familiarity with accounting manuals and file structures.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe.

  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot).

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience handling confidential financial documentation in accordance with compliance standards.

  • Attention to detail and ability to interpret written and verbal instructions accurately.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to work professionally across all levels of personnel.

  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and discretion.

  • Experience with production accounting software preferred (e.g., PSL, Smart Accounting, Eclipse).

  • Quick learner, adaptable to new software and systems supporting efficient financial operations.

  • Occasional travel to production sites for on-site audit field work may be required.

  • Ability to lift and carry boxes of financial documentation when retrieving records for audits.

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $51,106.00 - $94,910.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
