Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a passionate Manager Machine Learning engineer to support, build
and scale the personalization and search platforms for the global streaming app Max as
well as ongoing and future streaming initiatives. You are excited about working in a fast-
moving environment that fosters engineering and operational excellence with
continuous development, deployment, experimentation, quality assurance, and
collaboration. You will bring an obsession with our customers along with skills for rapid
feature iteration. In your role, you will be working in a team of passionate machine
engineers and applied researchers contributing to a system that serves 100+ million
users worldwide.

Partner closely with business and data science leadership for

Partner closely with platform and infra teams to build robust fault
tolerant solutions and accelerate the learning cycle.

Develop ML Systems roadmap in partnership with Data Science
teams, and educate both internal and external stakeholders at all

Develop and evangelize engineering best practices for scoping,
building, validating, deploying, and monitoring ML/AI products.
Qualifications & Experience...
Technical education in Computer Science, Information Science,
Engineering, or equivalent experience (Masters degree or higher
preferred).
8+ years of work experience in developing engineering solutions for
Machine Learning and Data Science applications with a proven track
record to drive innovation and business impacts.
2+ years leading and growing high performance engineering teams.
Familiarity with the practical aspects of machine learning is required.
Familiarity with the practical aspects of machine learning is required.
Proficient in both Python and OOP languages including GoLang,
Java or C++.
Experience with Agile methodologies preferred.
Experience in deploying complex and large scale machine learning
algorithms and advanced modeling solutions.
Self-starter and self-motivated with the proven ability to deliver
results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex
engineering systems to non-technical audience.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $145,600.00 - $270,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.Other facts
