Your New Role...

TNT Sports is seeking a smart, creative, and hyper-organized sports enthusiast to join our Marketing team as an Assistant Manager. In this role, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for leading and executing all marketing efforts that drive consumption of hockey and soccer-related content across the TNT Sports ecosystem. This cross-functional role interfaces with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to develop and deploy effective marketing solutions that grow and engage audiences. This individual should have a background in marketing with experience managing multiple projects and a proven track record of creative problem-solving.

Role Accountabilities...

  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, meeting critical deadlines
  • Support creative ideation and briefing process for marketing campaigns and content
  • Work directly with our internal creative services team to drive the vision and ensure all marketing assets align with our brand and strategy
  • Manage the trafficking and tracking process for all marketing assets to internal teams and external partners
  • Set priorities and manage the scheduling and creation of on-air graphics, as well as writing copy for on-air reads and media buys
  • Work cross-functionally with paid media team on kick-off briefings, asset delivery, and creative/tactic optimization
  • Work in partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL) and US Soccer Federation (USSF) Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to meet objectives for all advertising and public-­facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
  • Hire, manage, and train semester interns

Qualifications & Experience...

  • 2-3 years of marketing experience with a focus on strategy support and/or project management
  • A strong work ethic, with a great attitude and the ability to be a self-starter
  • Passion for sports with a strong understanding of the NHL and USSF
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive-level decision-makers.
  • A keen eye for creative with the aptitude to convey actionable feedback
  • Excellent project management skills (detail-oriented); ability to move multiple proactive initiatives forward and manage varying reactive deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data, research, and trends into actionable insights.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or related field
  • Ability to travel up to one week every other month
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Adobe Creative Suite a bonus

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $56,001.00 - $104,003.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
