Our team works collaboratively to innovate and optimize our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our team’s goals and supporting Walmart’s mission to deliver exceptional value to our customers.   What You’ll Do:
  • Design, develop, monitor, review, unit test, and deploy code for services.
  • Write and maintain Terraform (IaC) configurations and CI/CD scripts.
  • Take ownership of releasing code for new features.
  • Build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure like Kafka clusters and EC2 instances.
  • Triage application and system issues to debug, track, and recover services quickly.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 3 - 5 years of experience with software development in languages like Java, Go, distributed systems, micro-service architecture.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and tools like Terraform, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and design patterns.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, SREs, and other teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00 - $198,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
