The Corporate Compliance Expert ensures the company meets regulatory, compliance, and disclosure requirements in a public-company environment. The role owns SOX compliance and ESG reporting frameworks, enabling audit readiness, transparency, and strong internal controls across the organization.


  • Ensure end-to-end SOX compliance and internal control effectiveness
  • Lead ESG data governance, reporting, and controls
  • Support a scalable, compliant operating model aligned with WBX standards
  • Act as a trusted compliance partner to Finance, Legal, IT, and Internal Audit


Customer / Stakeholder Profile 

  • Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and Business leaders
  • Coordinate with Internal and External Auditors
  • Support CFO organization and Audit Committee readiness
  • Collaborate with Sustainability / ESG stakeholders on disclosures and data integrity


Requeriments:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Experience: 5+ years in compliance, audit, or internal controls within a public company or Big 4
  • Core Expertise: SOX, internal controls, risk assessment
  • Skills: Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
  • Tools: Experience with ERP systems and compliance

Nice-to-Have:

  • ESG reporting experience (SEC climate disclosures, sustainability frameworks)
  • CPA, CIA, or equivalent certification
  • Experience in fast-growing or transformation environments
