Summary
The TAMS Administrator is responsible for managing the Training and Academy Management System (TAMS) and Post Tracking System (PTS) for FPS security contracts. This role ensures compliance with FPS training, record-keeping, and equipment tracking requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• System Administration & Compliance
• Maintain, update, and verify employee training records, certifications, background checks, and compliance documentation within the Training and Academy Management System (TAMS).
• Ensure all FPS-mandated records are accurately stored, maintained, and transferred in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Human Resources, Training, and Program Management to track drug testing, medical evaluations, and firearms qualifications.
• Post Tracking System (PTS) Administration
• Oversee the purchase, deployment, tracking, and maintenance of FPS-approved PTS tablets.
• Train site personnel on proper PTS operation and usage.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for PTS troubleshooting and basic technical support.
• Monitor PTS device inventory, security, and compliance status.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Create, update, and maintain user manuals, procedures, and system guidelines for TAMS and PTS.
• Generate and distribute compliance, inventory, and system performance reports as required.
• Communicate professionally with FPS representatives regarding system updates, audits, and inquiries.
• Communication & Support
• Provide guidance and support to internal staff regarding system requirements and usage.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee and contract information.
• Respond to inquiries and system issues during established business hours and provide limited after-hours support as needed.
