About this role

Overview

The Ambulatory Care Nurse, Infusion is responsible for providing physician support and as applicable, comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families. This RN position is responsible for providing skilled, exceptional patient care through the administration and monitoring of all infusion therapy services within the infusion suite. This position works collaboratively with practice management and the Clinical Supervisor to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the delivery of patient care services. The position will perform duties within the scope of practice, ensuring consistency with hospital and WakeMed Physician Practices policies and procedures, standards of care, standing orders and evidence-based guidelines. The position will also adhere to practice standards governed by all applicable state, federal and regulatory agencies. The Ambulatory Care Nurse, Infusion understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices.
