The Project Designer works in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to producing high-impact proposals for aquatic play park projects. He/she is responsible for the visual presentation portion of these proposals by creating 3D renderings. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the design of play areas in urban and commercial spaces to undertake a versatile and rewarding role within a forward-thinking organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review proposal design documents
- Plan work according to customer requirements and company standards
- Evaluate proposed layouts in the design guide and propose/discuss any changes with sales teammates
- Communicate with sales teammates or directly with the client to obtain information or clarifications on needs
- Prepare 3D renderings of aquatic play park that meet the final specifications, adding visual effects such as scenery, water effects and characters
- Transfer the 3D drawing into AutoCAD for technical drawings showing the water effects
- Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial design, Architectural Technology, Architecture and Urban Landscaping or 3D Visual Artists
- 1-3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of 3DS Max and VRay
- Strong knowledge in Adobe suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of SolidWorks and Unreal is an asset
- Flexible and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to manage time and priorities and work at a fast pace
- Attention to detail amd team player
- Able to read architectural plans
- Keen eye for aesthetics and colors
- Excellent communication skills
