As a Piano Associate, you represent Von Maur and impact our reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. You have the opportunity to set the ambiance for the store and make a lasting impression on the customer’s shopping experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own the customer experience – smile, be friendly and provide customers with a pleasant musical experience
- Provide a pleasant shopping environment by playing piano music for customer enjoyment
- Perform selected music and customer requests - may play from memory, by ear, or read music
- Maintain a polished and clean playing area and piano
- Be available to work as requested

Situated in a 20’ x 50’ rented storefront in downtown Davenport, Iowa, the first Von Maur store was founded back in 1872.
With all of that history to inspire us, we created Dry Goods to bring our tradition of old-fashioned customer service to a new generation of customers.
