India Digital Tech Hub – Bangalore
The Digital Tech Hub is an integral part of the digital transformation journey for Volvo Cars. Tech Hub is a strategic player, providing skills and competencies in areas such as SAP ERP, cloud solutions, data science and analytics, UX/UI and we are part of managing key technology platforms within various domains such as Finance, R&D, manufacturing & logistics and commercial.
What you'll do
This role is within our Finance - Process Analytics Data & Digital unit, which has the goal to provide effective and correct financial transactions and contract management for Volvo Cars. You will be part of the Finance Engineering department with the goal to support and develop the Finance system landscape to secure seamless Closings & enable a stable and scalable transactional backbone for Volvo cars.
Main responsibilities
- Ensuring realization of solutions in accordance with operational requirements
- Creating a stable solution that realizes the system's functional requirements and quality attributes
- Handling Major and minor development items - configurations and customizations,
- Ensuring that architectural principles are followed
- Ensuring that technical solutions are supporting the roadmap for each product team
- Driving and establishing a future proof architecture based on our architecture principles
- Closely collaborate with other technical experts as well as with our stakeholders
What you'll bring
- 6+ years of experience in SAP FICO
- Experience with S4 HANA implementation projects
- Hands-on experience in implementing at least 2 Full cycle SAP implementation projects
- Worked in highly customized SAP End to End Implementation project from Realization, Cutover activities to Go-Live & Support
- Good knowledge & working experience in FICO modules of Interfaces, AP, AR, GL, COPA, CCA, PCA etc.
- In-depth understanding of business processes related to finance with integration of other modules and business functions such as Month-end processing for FI & CO, Year-end processing tasks
- Basic knowledge in SAP FIORI and Central Finance (CFIN) is a bonus.
- University degree in business administration, data science, engineering or similar
Technical skills: -
- Configure and support key SAP CO components, including:
- Cost Element Accounting
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Project Systems (PS)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Product Costing (CO-PC)
- Profitability Analysis (CO PA – costing based and/or account based)
- Define cost structures, allocations, assessments, and distributions
- Configure period-end closing activities in CO
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP CO with FI, MM, SD, PP, and PS
