Health Data Engineer Intern 2026

As a Data Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with real-world production data systems in a collaborative research environment. You will also work on our production research data pipeline, supporting critical healthcare-focused data initiatives.

Summary of Job Functions

• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines under the guidance of senior data engineers
• Contribute to the production research data pipeline
• Improve and maintain Snowflake-based databases and pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and QA processes
• Assist in building and organizing data management systems for production data projects
• Learn and follow Voloridge Health data engineering standards and best practices
• Create and maintain data engineering and operational documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and analysts to troubleshoot and resolve data issues

 Minimum Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Basic SQL programming skills
• Ability to work onsite in our Jupiter, Florida office (not a remote role)
• Basic scripting language skills, such as Python
• Experience working with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, or databases
