Brief Role Description
Possible Tasks within this Role
Support Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Assist in consolidating annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Help develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business performance and strategic options.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze financial results and variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Prepare reporting materials including KPIs, trend analysis, and executive summaries for internal stakeholders.
Research & Learning
- Explore best practices in financial planning and IFRS compliance; contribute to internal projects and presentations.
- Collaborate with finance teams to understand corporate financial systems and processes.
Systems & Tools
- Learn to work with VW financial systems (ZEUS, Board, & FACTS) for data entry and reporting accuracy.
- Gain exposure to advanced Excel modeling and financial analytics tools.
Collaboration
- Participate in planning and review meetings with finance managers and directors.
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally to support decision-making.
Qualification requirements
- Rising sophomore, junior or senior
- Strong GPA
- Strong preference for Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
Desired Skills:
- Advanced Excel
- Power BI knowledge
