Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced to fill the Audi Sales Analyst position in the Audi Department - NSO (Sandton) 

Brief Role Description

To provide an analytical resource to the Audi National Sales Manager, Sales Operations Manager, Regional Sales Managers , Pre-Owned Manager and the Special Markets Consultant thereby critically evaluating Audi sales performance to forecast / budget / target. Assisting with Audi Dealer forecast input to macro forecast process

Possible Tasks within this Role

  • Calculate, analyse and control national dealer and direct channels targets to ensure equity and consistency with national forecast.
  • Establishment of Regional potential with regard to Targets and Sales in order to maintain consistency between Regions and maximise Dealer performance.
  • Achieving Regional Manager and Pre-owned Manager buy-in and agreement of Regional / Dealer Targets.
  • Monitor national dealer and direct channels performance to target – monthly and year-to-date to highlight any out of line performance to Regional Sales Managers.
  • Assist Audi National Sales Manager, Operations Sales Manager, Special Markets Consultant and Regional Sales Managers with sales analysis / trends.
  • Assist Audi Pre-Owned Manager with dealer performance to target analysis and marketing intelligence.
  • Assessment of consistently under-performing Dealers and together with Regional Managers and make recommendations regarding Targets and Allocation to the National Sales Manager.
  • Determine first sight Regional and Dealer Allocation splits and obtain agreement from Regional Sales Managers.
  • Liaise with Corporate Sales Department regarding volume deals pending in the forward period.
  • Develop dealer sales incentive program proposals when needed.
  • Analyse sales performance on approved incentive programs and national sales trends, Audi and competitors.
  • Compile summary reports of dealer incentives to Finance for payment and audit.
  • Provide marketing intelligence reports to all relevant stakeholders and various sales forecast reporting.
  • Establish core reasons / agreements / rationale explaining changes in weekly forecasts and month-to-month movements

Qualification requirements

A recognised 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Sales / Finance / Commerce / Business Science

Experience needed

  • Minimum of 3 years motor industry experience, ideally within some of the following fields:   Volume Planning / Dealer Sales / Franchise Operations

Advanced :

  • Proficiency in computer systems / MS Office with high proficiency in MS Excel and Thinkcell
