Job Purpose

 

  • Operations and Maintenance, Planning and implementation of critical Facility /Infra at Data Centre
  • Planning and executing capacity enhancement Projects for Network server, rack space Power & HVAC
  • Planning of CAPEX and Operation budgets, managing and monitoring costs on an ongoing basis, coordinating billing and related finance activities.
  • Participating in Strategic Planning Activities in relation to Power and HVAC requirements.
  • Ensuring proper inventory and management of Facility Assets.
  • Management of service contract workforce by vendors and service providers.
  • Team management in all HR aspects related to diverse and multi locational teams

 

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
  • Sound Technical Knowledge on 33 KV / 22KV/ 11KV High Voltage electrical Setup
  • Power and Distribution Transformer,
  • Vacuum / SF6 type HT breakers and LT type Air Circuit breakers,
  • HT / LT Type Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), HT /LT DG sets.,
  • HVAC systems High-Capacity chillers ( up to 1000TR capacity),
  • High-Capacity UPS system,
  • Precision Air-conditioning System,
  • SMPS / DC power supply systems,
  • High-capacity battery banks,
  • Safety and security systems including Novac 1230 / FM200 /FE 227 systems,
  • BMS (Building Management Systems)
  • Vendor management & Team Building,
  • Business continuity management,
  • Emergency preparedness management and others compliance and standards related to telecom and Data Centre Operations

Must have technical / professional qualifications
  • BE in Electrical engineering.
  • 15 - 20 years’ experience in telecom / Data centre sector
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineer Additional Certifications (Optional).
  • High Voltage switching training (Optional).
  • Data Centre Certified Professional Certification (Optional).
