About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Vulnerability Analyst to join our TSSI Cyber Defence Security team. This role is focused on executing vulnerability assessments across Vodafone’s infrastructure, services, and applications. The individual will manage security scanners, proactively identify vulnerabilities, and ensure timely remediation. The role also involves producing detailed technical reports, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting cyber incident response efforts.

What you will do

  • Operate and manage vulnerability scanning infrastructure and tools.
  • Execute security assessments and articulate risks to the business.
  • Discover and validate vulnerabilities, ensuring mitigation actions are implemented.
  • Create and deliver detailed technical reports to resolver teams.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application owners on remediation.
  • Support cyber incident response teams during crisis management.
  • Research zero-day vulnerabilities and update scanning strategies accordingly.
  • Document standard operating procedures and continuously improve processes.

Who you are

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vulnerability assessment and scanner management.
  • Proficient in tools such as Qualysguard VMDR, WAS, and cloud scanning platforms.
  • Familiar with technologies like Retina, ACUNETIX, Nessus, OpenVAS, Metasploit, NMAP.
  • Skilled in operating systems (Linux, Windows), virtualisation (VMware), and network security.
  • Knowledgeable in OWASP, Kali Linux, Burp Suite, CVE, SSL PKI, IAM, SIEM solutions.
  • Holds a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Certified in CEH or similar ethical hacking credentials.
  • Experienced in compiling VAPT reports and managing test environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
