Participate in all phases of IT projects, including requirements definition, planning, analysis, and implementation. Define technical requirements and evaluate IT solutions to meet business needs. Develop scripts and programs (e.g., Bash, KSH, Python, Perl) to extend functionalities or automate processes. Configure and implement solutions involving operating systems and virtualisation platforms. Design and test disaster recovery solutions and optimise existing architectures for improved efficiency. Support technology refresh programmes aimed at enhancing service availability and performance.Investigate and resolve performance incidents, identifying root causes and proposing solutions. Execute proactive maintenance using automated tools and alerts. Contribute to proof-of-concept evaluations for new technologies. Participate in on-call services and be available for night shifts, overtime, and stand-by duties when required. Performance optimisation and troubleshooting methodologies. Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure administration and operating systems (Linux/Windows). Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware) and distributed systems. Understanding of hardware architecture and procedural programming. Knowledge of shell scripting and general cybersecurity principles. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and prioritise effectively. Well-organised, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple requests. Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and client-oriented mindset. Fluent in English (written and spoken).0-1 year of experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role.
