There is no upper limit, but you must be at least 18 years old on or before 15 September 2026. GCSEs in English & Maths at grade C/4 or above or equivalent qualifications and 3 A Levels gained by August 2026 or equivalent qualifications*. You must not currently be enrolled into full time education, and you must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject (e.g. a degree or masters in a similar subject). To have the right to work in the UK and to have lived in the UK and/or EU for three years or more. Keen to explore the world of software engineering with a real passion for all things tech. Have already had a go at coding and are familiar with essential programming concepts which you can showcase at assessment time. Possess a critical thinking mindset when analysing requirements and ability to spot patterns. Able to communicate effectively and enjoys working as an individual and as part of a large team when applying problem-solving. Willingness to adapt and learn in a rapidly changing tech landscape keeping up with the new technologies.
