Become a part of the Vivvi founding team at a brand new 24-hour child care center on Toyota’s new campus in Liberty, NC, and help build the quality program children deserve while pursuing your own professional growth and development.</p> <p><strong>About The Role</strong></p> <p>As an Assistant Teacher, you'll:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the well-being and development of infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children</li> <li>Support progressive inquiry-based learning in your classroom</li> <li>Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play</li> <li>Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocols</li> <li>Perform the duties of the Head Teacher in their absence</li> </ul> <p><strong>Apply Today If You</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Are a flexible &amp; communicative team player who's passionate about working with the youngest learners</li> <li>Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues</li> <li>Have 1-2 years of professional experience working with children aged 0-5</li> <li>Hold a Child Development Associate (CDA); Associates in ECE preferred</li> <li>Hold NC Child Development Credentials I and II</li> <li>Are a dependable, positive, and flexible team player who’s passionate about working with the youngest learners</li> <li>Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and partnership</li> <li>Have a strong foundation in child development and a desire to grow as a career educator</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p> <p><em>Competitive Compensation and Benefits</em>: Our Assistant Teachers and Center Floaters compensation rates are $12-$17 per hour based on level of education and experience.
