The Opportunity
- Seeking Emergency Department physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
- New grads welcome due to our innovative internship program.
- Current national certification, DEA, and BLS are required.
- ACLS and PALS are preferred.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
The Practice
Adventist Health and Rideout Hospital – Marysville, California
- A Level III Trauma Center, STEMI receiving center and Primary Stroke Center.
- 221-bed facility with 44 ED beds.
- An annual volume of 72,000 with a 17% admit rate.
- Excellent sub-specialty backup excluding neurosurgery, ENT, and pediatrics.
- High level of provider autonomy, friendly medical staff, and a very strong group of ED providers who are invested in the local community.
- Only hospital in two counties give providers the opportunity to practice rural medicine in a metro area.
- Vituity-staffed hospitalists, teleneurologists, and telepsychiatrists offer integrated care solutions at this site.
