Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology.  

Position Summary: The Traffic Specialist position is tasked with the responsibility of working with all divisions and Logistics service providers in conjunction with the freight audit service provider (BBA) to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.  Position will also support other Logistics related services as indicated below.

What you will be doing:

• Carrying the responsibility for the Freight Audit process and all divisions utilizing this service – maintaining/updating coding logic, working exceptions as needed and assisting others as required, providing/analyzing reports to identify area of improvement by site, service provider aging reports, etc.
• Logistic support as needed – Planning, Purchasing, Regional Logistics, Support/Backup other Logistics Traffic Specialist Performs and directs technicians in evaluation of materials, processes and design feasibility.
• Update SharePoint with relevant Upgrade Costs from BBA upgrade costs.
• Review and Update Americas Pending Shipments report daily, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Assist with the filing, tracking, and resolution of freight claims.
• Support local shipping operations, including preparation of export documentation.
• Provide cross-functional support to the Customer Experience team as requested.
• Respond to Customs requests and provide required documentation and information.

• High School Diploma

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Word).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledgeable in the understandings in Accounting and Financial terms.
