Developing and maintaining working relations with suppliers assigned.
Monitoring stock and inventories of local warehouses, and planning quantities of parts and materials needed, with respect to production and delivery plans.
Negotiating contracts and specific conditions for delivery of parts, materials or services.
Ensuring timely procurement and order management to ensure parts and materials are appropriately delivered Ensuring supplier performance reporting, announcing and clarifying claims, if necessary
A job at this level… Buys low-volume (direct and indirect) materials, parts, or services, for the plant or site assigned.
Utilizes frame contracts, or buy occasionally from other local or regional source (usually for indirect materials and/or within limits).
Plans the needs according to plan, monitor local stock inventories, and respectively places the procurement orders.
Be involved and support supplier or claims management measures, from local perspective. Approaches stakeholder actively to procurement related information and support.
