Vishay Guadalajara, Jalisco, is currently seeking applicants for the position of Inside Sales Representative.
Job Location
This position is located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and is performed on-site at our offices in Mexico. Guadalajara is a strategic hub for the electronics industry, recognized for its innovation, technological development, specialized manufacturing, and highly skilled talent.

What you will be doing
Serve as the primary communication link between Vishay customers, authorized Vishay distributors, Customer Service representatives in Columbus, and the various Vishay divisions (Dale, PDD, SSP, Roederstein, Sprague, Opto, BCC, and Vitramont).
Develop and maintain strong relationships between customers and Vishay Americas product lines.
Receive, process, and respond to quotations from direct customers across Vishay Americas product lines.
Act as the main point of contact between direct customers, authorized distributors, and Vishay divisional support departments (Marketing, Logistics, Quality, Customs, Production Control, among others).
Receive, process, and manage sample order requests for direct customers and authorized distributors using the SAP system.
Provide support to direct customers and distributors in line-down situations due to product shortages, assisting with expediting activities in coordination with Columbus Customer Service.
Prepare comparative sales reports for strategic customers to identify increases and decreases in billing by part number across different time periods.
Create and follow up on sample reports for direct customers and distributors.
Monitor and follow up on new business opportunity reports (Design Wins).
Support the Credit and Collections department by following up on past-due billing reports.
Locate Vishay products with authorized distributors to support specific customer requirements.
What you will bring along
Education: High school diploma required; professional degree in administrative areas preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the position or in similar roles; experience in the electronics industry is a strong plus.
Training: Basic job induction.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Advanced Excel knowledge is critical.
Ability to understand and learn the full Vishay product portfolio.

What you'll do
- The Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary communication link between Vishay customers and various Vishay divisions, developing and maintaining strong relationships. They also manage quotations, sample orders, and support customers in product shortages.
