What you'll do

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an onsite Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic operations team in Tempe, AZ!

 

This Manufacturing Engineer will bridge the gap between ambitious concepts and high-performance reality. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in developing innovative manufacturing solutions for complex electronics, supporting products from their first prototype to full-scale production. If you are a data-driven problem solver who thrives on lean principles and 'outside-the-box' process optimization, we want you on our team to help us build the future of hardware.


The day-to-day

  • Develop and implement innovative manufacturing solutions for complex electronics hardware, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with design, engineering, and program management teams to bring cutting-edge products from concept to reality.
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills to think outside the box and address manufacturing challenges with creative and effective solutions.
  • Support the entire product lifecycle, from prototype development through to full-scale production, ensuring seamless transitions and robust product performance.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency improvements through data-driven analysis and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by spearheading process optimization initiatives and adopting state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing or an Operations role.
  • Proven experience writing technical work plans.
  • Strong knowledge of space flight and/or micro-electronics hardware manufacturing processes and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • US Citizenship Required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

  • Knowledge of Agile Product Data Management (PDM) system.

Salary range

$108,000.00 - $170,500.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $134,500.00- $201,500.00/ annually

Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
