Purpose & Scope:
Under the direction of the director, provides supervision and direction to pharmacists and technicians. Ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations, Statewide Pharmacy Operations objectives, policies, and procedures. Responsible for day-to day operations of Outpatient pharmacy and performs the duties of all subordinate employees and other duties as required.
Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy is required.
Experience:
Two years of experience in outpatient/retail pharmacy is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership ability is required.
Certification/Licensure:
Licensed as a Pharmacist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required.
