<p>Budd Lake Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and customer-focused <strong>Client Service Representative (CSR)</strong> to join our team. As a CSR, you are much more than a receptionist — you are the welcoming face and voice of our hospital and play a vital role in shaping every client’s experience from the moment they walk through our doors or call our practice.</p>

<h2>What You’ll Do</h2>
<h3>Client Experience and Communication</h3>
<ul>
<li>Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere</li>
<li>Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about hospital services, policies, and procedures</li>
<li>Schedule appointments, surgeries, and procedures while maintaining an efficient and well-balanced schedule</li>
</ul>
<h3>Check-In and Check-Out Coordination</h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage client check-ins by verifying patient information, updating records, and collecting required paperwork</li>
<li>Process payments accurately and provide clear invoices and receipts</li>
<li>Coordinate smooth check-out experiences, including scheduling follow-up visits and sharing post-visit or post-operative instructions</li>
</ul>
<h3>Administrative Support and Organization</h3>
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, including patient files and appointment logs</li>
<li>Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, filing, and document management</li>
<li>Update and manage client and patient information within the practice management software</li>
</ul>
<h3>Client Education and Support</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provide basic guidance on preventive care, vaccines, and medications</li>
<li>Assist clients with forms and help explain treatment plans alongside the medical team</li>
<li>Offer empathy and patience to clients who may be anxious or emotional about their pets</li>
</ul>
<h3>Team Collaboration</h3>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow</li>
<li>Assist with coordinating appointments, procedures, and special requests</li>
<li>Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment</li>
</ul>

<h2>Who You Are</h2>
<ul>
<li>Friendly, outgoing, and professional with a genuine love for animals and people</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting with frequent interruptions</li>
<li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Comfortable using computer systems, including practice management software and Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Empathetic and calm when supporting clients during stressful or emotional situations</li>
</ul>
<p>Previous experience in customer service or reception is required. Experience in a veterinary or healthcare setting is strongly preferred.</p>

<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>

<p><strong>Hourly pay:</strong> $20.00–$22.00, commensurate with experience</p>
