  • Conduct training needs assessments and serve as an L&D business partner to support departmental learning goals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and department leaders to design and update product-specific and professional development content.
  • Utilize diverse instructional techniques, such as classroom training, virtual workshops, e-learning modules, and role-playing exercises to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
  • Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and performance improvement planning for new and existing team members.

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials, including participant guides, job aids, and digital content.
  • Model VBG’s core values and act as a mentor/resource for new hires as they acclimate to the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in learning and development, with a strong background in onboarding, professional development, and training delivery in a call center or high-volume service environment.
  • Advanced understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training lifecycle best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead full-cycle training projects—from needs analysis through post-training evaluation.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and classroom/virtual facilitation skills.
  • High attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, and the ability to adapt content for varied learning styles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, and familiarity with LMS and e-learning tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain discretion, professionalism, and composure in high-pressure situations.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant experience in a professional training role may also be considered.
