As we continue to scale, Vestwell is looking for an exceptional Associate, Strategic Finance to join our finance team. In this role, you will report to Vestwell’s Director of FP&amp;A GTM (Go-To-Market), work closely with the CFO, and partner cross-functionally with senior leaders, particularly within the Sales &amp; Marketing organizations.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What Will You Be Doing?</strong></p> <p>As an Associate, Strategic Finance, you will serve as a strategic, individual contributor, supporting leadership with financial analysis, modeling, and strategic decision-making. This is a high-impact role that requires independent judgment, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate a high volume of complex data into actionable insights that influence decision making. You will play a meaningful role in shaping Vestwell’s financial strategy, supporting executive decision-making, and helping guide the company’s long-term trajectory. You will own Vestwell’s revenue model, lead revenue forecasting, assist in the creation and reporting of sales-related KPIs, and provide support on various projects and ad-hoc analyses.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own, refine, and manage Vestwell’s revenue model, a core input into Vestwell’s overall operating model.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and maintain a flash forecasting process to proactively identify, assess, and communicate risks &amp; opportunities to key stakeholders.</li> <li>Build and maintain sales-related KPIs &amp; reporting to surface trends, risks &amp; opportunities, and provide actionable insights to increase efficiency and drive growth.</li> <li>Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide support on a variety of strategic initiatives.</li> <li>Partner closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to refine assumptions and model inputs.</li> <li>Analyze, synthesize, and clearly communicate financial and operational metrics to enable informed decision-making across the business.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <p>The Necessities:</p> <ul> <li>2-3+ years of relevant experience, with 2+ years at a top-tier investment bank strongly preferred</li> <li>Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills</li> <li>Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required</li> <li>Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to uplevel and simplify to drive clarity</li> <li>Strong organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver exceptional work under tight timelines</li> <li>Team player with excellent interpersonal, and written communication skills</li> <li>Self-motivated with success in thriving in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment</li> </ul> <p>The Extras:</p> <ul> <li>Experience going through an IPO in a Strategic Finance or FP&amp;A function is a plus</li> <li>Financial accounting knowledge is a plus</li> <li>Startup, FinTech, Tech, and/or Financial Services experience would be helpful<br>This role will be based in our New York City HQ and will be part of Vestwell's hybrid in-office operation.</li> </ul> <p>The expected base salary range for this position is $115K - $125K, plus performance base bonus.&nbsp; This position is eligible to participate to receive new hire equity in the Company.
