To support the company’s constant development process, the company has a strong need to hire a top professional to be appointed for the position of Group Leader, to help coach and mentor existing businesses within the portfolio, but also to help build and nurture M&A targets through to successful acquisition into the group.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a key member of our senior leadership team, working alongside senior executives and business leaders within our organisation, you will report Directly to a Portfolio Leader and or the CEO of Vesta Software Group:
Manage a portfolio of acquired companies in line with the strategy of Vesta Software within Mexico
Manage and lead cross functional, collaborative, work stream execution efforts, with both local and global business executives
Coach local managing directors in company best practices and help them achieve mastery within their respective domain.
Lead the integration of newly acquired companies, ensuring that the acquisition thesis is implemented and immediate best practices are delivered
Building best practice groups and delivering operational training sessions for all business units within the portfolio.
Nurturing talent within your portfolio to build long term succession plans
Working with the portfolio leader on due diligence topics to aid the smooth transition for newly acquired companies
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree / academic mind-set. MBA as an asset
Fluent English spoken and written as a must. Additional European languages would be an advantage
At least 5-10 years’ experience relevant to this position, ideally with experience both on transactions (M&A, integrations, etc.) and in software / technology management positions
Knowledge and experience related to M&A (e.g. around negotiation, DD, financials, valuations and market) would be beneficial
Experience and affiliation with software and technology within the Mexican software ecosystem.

Organizational skills. Ability to plan own workload effectively and to delegate, but also work autonomously when needed.
