Role Overview

The Counter Sales role is responsible for pulling, packing, and staging all outgoing will call material orders. Coordinates, communicates, and coordinates all will call orders by working closely with the sales counterperson.  

Responsibilities

• Prepares, pulls, and stages all daily will call tickets. 
• Assists Shipping and Receiving team on pulling, packaging, and shipping all ship outs. 
• Assists in pulling and staging ship order tickets. 
• Assists in processing and stocking incoming inventory. 
• Assists in deliveries when needed. 
• Files all call tickets into the will call box. 
• Fronts and stocks inventory (FIFO). 
• Maintains and cleans work area to ensure daily housekeeping standards are met.  
• Conducts local pickups upon request.  
• Follows safety procedures and reports any issues that arise.
• Performs additional duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• May be required to maintain a current CDL and DOT requirements.
• Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365. 
• Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal]. 
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment. 
• Detailed oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach. 
• Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lift to 50 lbs., carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling, endure frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
