<p> </p></div><p>Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.</p>
<p>We are seeking an Associate for our Construction Finance team. This position will aid the Construction Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting and analysis of our multi-billion-dollar capital projects. You will effectively communicate results to senior leaders to enable and enhance decision making. This person will be based in Houston, TX. </p>
<p> Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for financial management of specific business area(s)</li>
<ul>
<li>Developing initial budgets</li>
<li>Reporting actuals</li>
<li>Variance analysis</li>
<li>Trend and forecast updates</li>
<li>Liquidity management</li>
<li>Change management</li>
<li>Contract review</li>
<li>Supplier risk analysis</li>
<li>Understand and assist with accounting treatments</li>
<li>Provide data-driven insights to drive business decisions</li>
</ul>
<li>Executive level presentations on financial results</li>
<ul>
<li>Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting</li>
<li>Support external reporting requirements</li>
<li>Ad-hoc reporting as requested</li>
</ul>
<li>Develop relationships with key stakeholders within your business area, including project controls, construction, engineering, development and accounting leadership, to gather data and align financial goals</li>
<li>Continual process improvement to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting tools, and building financial models</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or relevant field</li>
<li>2 – 3 years of experience in Finance, Cost Engineering, Project Controls, Accounting or related field</li>
<li>Demonstrated analytical and quantitative abilities, and understanding of key financial concepts</li>
<li>Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast paced environment, and comfortable with ambiguity</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal effectiveness with the ability to influence and challenge</li>
<li>Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and present key details and conclusions</li>
<li>Proactive problem solving mindset to achieve business and financial objectives</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels</li>
<li>Demonstrated initiative and ownership of work with strong attention to detail</li>
<li>High level of ethics, integrity and emotional intelligence with ability to maintain confidentiality</li>
<li>Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Financial Modeling</li>
<li>Willing to report in office, daily</li>
<li>Occasional travel to construction site(s) or Arlington office will be required</li>

About Venture Global LNG
