About this role

We are excited to announce a new recruitment process for the Marketing Manager position. This role is responsible for leading and shaping the local marketing strategy in line with business priorities and regional marketing direction. The Marketing Manager will lead the Marketing Activation team and report directly to the Managing Director for Poland and the Baltics, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Regional Marketing Director for CEE. Tasks & responsibilities

The role is a member of the Local Management Team and actively contributes to day-to-day business decisions. In addition, it is part of the Regional Marketing Leadership Team, ensuring strong alignment, effective best-practice sharing, and two-way communication between local markets and the region. The position works in close collaboration with the respective Regional Marketing Planning & Activation Manager to drive scale, consistency, and overall effectiveness.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership & Planning

  • Co-lead the development of the local marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, sales priorities, regional direction, and overall business objectives.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of annual local marketing and trade marketing plans, including objectives, KPIs, timelines, and activation calendars.
  • Co-own local market plans across Sales, Trade Marketing, and key customer segments (Installers, Dealers, Partners, Architects) in close collaboration with the National Trade Excellence and Activation Manager.

2.  People Leadership & Organization

  • Lead, coach and develop Local Marketing Activation Specialists and Marketing Activation Team Leader, ensuring clarity of roles, priorities and expectations.
  • Set performance objectives aligned with local and regional goals and support continuous development.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture with strong focus on engagement and best-practice sharing.

3. Marketing Activation, Campaigns & Trade Marketing Execution

  • Oversee the planning, localization and execution of integrated local marketing activities across campaigns, promotions, partnerships, trade marketing, digital, social media and POS.
  • Plan and execute low-funnel, conversion-focused campaigns tailored to local market characteristics and customer behavior.
  • Approve and oversee co-advertising and co-promotion activities with partners, ensuring brand consistency, legal compliance and measurable commercial impact.
  • Continuously optimize activation based on performance insights to ensure relevance, execution excellence and results.
  • Closely work with National Trade Excellence and Activation Manager and with Market Territory Manager for BL on all aspects of execution

4. Brand, Content & Customer Advocacy

  • Act as local brand guardian, ensuring all marketing activities comply with brand guidelines and strengthen brand consistency and equity.
  • Drive best practices in marketing activation to reinforce brand position in the market.
  • Lead the development of local customer advocacy assets, including case studies, testimonials and success stories.
  • Oversee end-to-end advocacy content creation, from selection and contracting to production and localization.

5. Local Events, Sponsorships, Trainings & POS

  • Plan and deliver end-to-end local events, training and fairs, aligned with local strategy and commercial priorities.
  • Activate relevant global sponsorship initiatives locally, ensuring strong brand visibility and high-quality execution.
  • Lead the development, production, distribution, and placement of POS and sales support materials (such as brochures, leaflets, catalogues, and price lists) with close collaboration with regional marketing teams.
  • Manage local loyalty programs and targeted initiatives for business partners and end users
  • Collaborate closely with the National Trade Excellence and Activation Manager as well as the Baltic Market Territory Manager to ensure smooth and effective execution across all activities

6. Budget, Performance Management & Governance

  • Own and manage the allocated local marketing and trade marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation, cost control and compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Prepare budgets within agreed timelines and ensure accurate monthly tracking, reporting and forecasting for the respected budget lines.
  • Monitor KPIs, campaign performance and overall marketing effectiveness together with the regional teams.
  • Provide regular performance reporting and share insights and recommendations with local and regional stakeholders.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration, PR & Matrix Contribution

  • Act as key partner within the Local Management Team, contributing to business planning and decision-making.
  • Build strong working relationships with Regional Marketing, Finance, Market Director, Sales and Customer Service to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Lead local Product PR in line with regional PR direction, including media relations, press materials, events and crisis support when required.
  • Serve as local point of contact for regional Social Media and Influencer teams, providing market insights, content input and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Extensive marketing experience, preferably gained within a multi-market or matrix organization, with proven exposure to the B2C segment
  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience in people leadership and team management
  • Strong background in marketing activation, brand governance, and stakeholder management
  • Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed, data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Fluency in both English and Polish is required
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20 days per annum.
