Front End Developer, Digital Channels

At Veikkaus we are focused on building a software development environment that empowers teams and drives high-impact results. Now we’re searching for a Front End Developer who is passionate about learning and growing while working on Veikkaus’ digital channels. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Our team develops and maintains Veikkaus' digital channels — our website and mobile apps — the biggest online consumer store in Finland. We offer a wide range of games and gaming products with safe, responsible, and innovative gaming experiences. As a Developer, you will be part of the team creating the future of these services and products.

In this role, your focus is on developing a modern web service in agile teams. You’ll collaborate with developers, designers, QA, data scientists, product owners, and game experts, learning from your talented colleagues. You will have the opportunity to learn about analytics in service development, continuous A/B testing, and machine learning, while deploying changes to production daily. TypeScript, React, Astro, Zustand, Tanstack Query, i18next, AWS, Node.js, Gitlab, pnpm, vitest, Cypress, Grafana, Playwright, Docker

The position is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model. To foster collaboration and effective teamwork, we meet at the office three times a week.
