About the Role


We are the leader in Kubernetes Backup and Disaster Recovery. Veeam Kasten, our data management platform purpose-built for Kubernetes, provides enterprise operations teams with an easy-to-use, scalable, and secure system for backup and restore, disaster recovery, and application mobility with unparalleled operational simplicity.


We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to contribute to infrastructure and frameworks used to develop and test our Veeam Kasten data management platform, purpose-built for Kubernetes, ensuring top-tier security and excellence. Our team is passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.


What You’ll Do



  • Rolling out and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructures used for our product development and testing

  • Building test frameworks and enhancing product test coverage

  • Implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines

  • Developing tools to automating our technical daily routines

  • Developing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code templates

  • Preparing technical documentation and specifications


Technologies You’ll Work With


Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Golang, Bash, Git, OpenShift, Rancher, Google GKE, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, VMware TKG(s), etc.


What You’ll Bring



  • 3+ years of experience in test automation

  • Experience developing and maintaining test frameworks

  • Experience with large-scale CI/CD pipelines

  • Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and related cloud-native projects

  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and functional code using high-level programming languages

  • Comfort with shell scripting or other scripting languages like Python

  • Strong ownership of projects and good communication skills


Bonus Skills



  • Experience developing in Golang

  • Experience with public cloud APIs like AWS
