We look for people that are smart, very capable technically, and have fun solving the challenges that our customers face together as a team. We're excited to find others to join the team that wants to work on an interesting product that solves real problems.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong></p> <p>Austin, TX (Hybrid)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain our software</li> <li>Translate product requirements and concepts into software designs and implementation taking scalability,&nbsp;performance,&nbsp;operational effort and cost&nbsp;into consideration</li> <li>Provide technical leadership in addition to mentoring and encouraging other engineers&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Take personal responsibility for the quality and maintainability of the product and actively identifies areas for improvement</li> <li>Implement Python focused tooling (scripts, APIs) for both developers and product</li> <li>Work with relational and non-relational databases to support data flow across the entire company</li> <li>Ready to ask questions and dive headfirst into supporting and improving a complex technical stack</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of professional experience in software design and delivery</li> <li>3+ years Python experience</li> <li>Unix/Linux proficiency</li> <li>Extensive experience with debugging and critical code analysis</li> <li>Proficiency in source code management tools; e.g. Git&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Basic networking protocol knowledge</li> <li>Knowledge of software design principles and leading software development practices</li> <li>Strong communication &amp; collaboration skills</li> <li>Willingness to get things done, take initiative and challenge existing assumptions and conventions&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We are not currently considering candidates that require sponsorship now or candidates that will require sponsorship in the future.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><span class="ui-provider gy b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak">Our competitive total rewards package includes cash compensation within the range provided below.
