VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Fishers, IN is adding the role of Patient Care Coordinator to our 24-Hour Specialty and Emergency Center.

Schedule: Full-time opportunities, 10 am- 8 pm with rotating weekends and some holidays.

Who We Are:

Our hospital consists of multiple specialty practices including medical oncology, radiation oncology, neurology, surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, advanced imaging, nutrition, physical rehabilitation, and 24-Hour emergency services.

Snapshot of the Role: As an ER Patient Care Coordinator you will be a bridge between our medical team and the clients we serve.

  • Serve as a key liaison between the emergency medical team and clients, ensuring clear, compassionate, and timely communication

  • Provide exceptional client service by welcoming clients, setting expectations, and supporting them throughout their ER visit

  • Assist clients with financial discussions, estimates, and payment questions in a respectful and transparent manner

  • Conduct follow-up communication with clients after patient discharge to support continuity of care and address questions

  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records while efficiently managing administrative and clerical tasks

  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure smooth hospital workflow and operations

  • Support a fast-paced emergency environment while maintaining attention to detail and a calm, client-focused demeanor

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or veterinary setting preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
