As a Relief Veterinary Surgeon, you will provide high-quality surgical care for a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic cases. You'll work alongside our specialty and emergency teams to ensure a seamless continuum of care for our patients.
Responsibilities include:
Performing scheduled and emergency surgeries (based on your availability)
Collaborating with referring veterinarians and in-house departments
Ensuring gold-standard patient care and client communication
Flexible scheduling – full-day or half-day blocks, weekdays and/or weekends
Competitive daily compensation
Potential for ongoing relief opportunities or transition to full-time role
DVM or equivalent degree
Diplomate of ACVS or residency-completion from an accredited surgery program
Valid New York veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
