Overview of the Role
The Project Management Officer is responsible for overseeing multiple projects and ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the organization. The Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while also ensuring the successful implementation of solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage program budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Manage project delivery against defined scope, cost and quality criteria
- Coordinate and prioritize project interdependencies within the program.
- Monitor project performance and progress, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Facilitate program-level risk management and issue resolution
- Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress.
- Coordinate internal resources and clients for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Conduct requirement analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the program's lifecycle.
- Facilitate client meetings and presentations to communicate program status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Gather and document client requirements and feedback to ensure satisfaction with the implemented solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 2+ years' experience delivering measurable results in process/project management
- Strong Analytical and Process Review skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, optimize and document complex business processes.
- A formal certification in PMBOK, Prince2 or PMP would be advantageous
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data and information.
