Job Description

Do you thrive at the intersection of business needs and technical solutions? We are looking for a Product Owner to manage development and operations of the customer and billing system we use.

As a Product Owner, you will act as the vital link between business and IT, requiring a strong understanding of the business and its processes supported by the system, system functionality, user interactions, and relevant technologies, as well as an understanding of the system’s role within the broader technology  landscape. You will also take on system owner responsibilities—ensuring the system’s operational integrity, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will collaborate with a wide range of business, IT, security, and compliance specialists to keep the system secure, compliant, and aligned with strategic objectives, consistently delivering maximum value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day cooperation with the system vendor to support operational needs and ongoing development
  • Proactively identify areas for development, gather feedback from stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage contracts, follow up costs, and handle SLA performance
  • Establish and enforce governance policies and procedures, and security controls; participate in internal and external governance forums
  • Ensure compliance, documentation, and user access management
  • Manage and define user roles and access authorizations, including responsibility for onboarding new users, updating roles, and handling role changes
  • Support GDPR requests and ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Participate managing critical incidents

Qualifications

  •  A degree in information management, computer science, business, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of business processes and supporting technologies
  • Previous experience working with CRM, Billing or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in product or system ownership, ensuring effective IT governance, contract management, and privacy and security compliance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Genuine interest in system processes and the ability to understand how the system supports end‑to‑end business workflows
  • Experience with Agile ways of working
  • Proficiency in both Finnish and English is required

As a person you are proactive and actionoriented, taking initiative and moving things forward even when the path is not fully clear. You naturally look for ways to improve processes and outcomes, learning from both successes and setbacks. You stay resilient under pressure and handle unexpected challenges with calm and focus. Your mindset helps you keep momentum and build confidence among stakeholders.
