HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Varsity Event Administration is looking for great people to join our team for both competitions and summer camps. Looking for a fun and exciting position with a company whose mission is to elevate the student experience and create memorable experiences for young people, then check out the opportunities within Varsity Spirit’s Event Administration department.


Varsity Event Administration is accepting applications for the camp manager and first aid positions. These positions support camps, competitions, and special events.



WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • General safety and security of all participant and coaches

  • Working with host site personnel to effectively use the resources provided at each event location while complying with applicable policies and procedures

  • Completing an Emergency Action Plan based upon location and available resources

  • Confirming that the necessary registration information is completed by all coaches and athletes to safely participate in camps

  • Remaining on site and available 24 hours a day for the entire duration of assigned camps

  • Conducting nightly checks of all teams at summer camps

  • Assisting in the prevention of injuries by inspecting facilities and weather conditions to avoid potential hazards

  • Providing basic first aid assistance as needed when injuries do occur

  • Assist with event management and operations



QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must be over 18 years of age.

  • Able to work independently and as a team, create effective solutions, onsite management skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Outstanding organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize various tasks

  • Ability to grasp new technology

  • Must be CPR/AED and First Aid Certified
