This role is for an engineer who is passionate about building sophisticated, performant, and scalable backend systems for AI-powered design tools.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of impactful work at companies known for their sophisticated backend engineering, major contributions to notable open-source projects, or a seriously impressive portfolio of complex backend builds. Experience with chat applications, reliable streaming, headless browser automation (Puppeteer/Chromium), and managing complex project state is highly desirable. We are looking for someone obsessed with performance, reliability, and scalability, who is fully committed to the hard work of a startup, and who doesn't compromise between quality and shipping fast.
