For our headquarters in Veghel, we are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer. In this role, you will act as a key link between technical expertise and commercial success. You will support the entire sales process—from identifying customer needs to developing tailored concepts and ensuring a smooth handover to project execution. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will help create competitive proposals and deliver solutions that meet complex technical and business requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
Provide support during the pre-contract phase by identifying customer needs and translating them into successful sales concepts.
Contribute to solving complex technical and business challenges through data and process analysis, as well as concept development during the proposal phase. Assist in advising customers to meet their requirements.
Collaborate in developing concepts and proposals within the team to create competitive and high-quality offers.
Support the creation of layouts based on material flow diagrams in cooperation with Sales Layout Engineers and translate these into detailed pricing specifications.
Manage pricing specifications across multiple projects and assist in preparing technical specifications for procurement items.
Participate in the handover phase with the project management team to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation.
Support project management in handling customer requirement deviations from the contract (Change Request Management).
What do we ask from you?
Completed a degree in mechanical engineering, logistics or a comparable field of study
First experience with complex sales processes, ideally within the automated material handling industry or a related industry and a focus on carbon footprint measurement and reduction strategies
Analytical skills, you can create concept solutions based on your analysis and understanding of our customers' logistic processes.
Proficient communicational skills, you have a creative and efficient approach to building professional client relationships
Experience in working within an international professional environment,
preferably a project-driven organization
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written,
as well as willingness to travel up to 30%
