A Brief Summary of This Position:

This position’s primary responsibility is maintaining enterprise-wide treasury services while ensuring the Treasury Department policies and procedures are followed.  This includes bank account governance, treasury support services, administration of online banking platforms, transaction support services, LC and Surety Bond issuance and maintenance, and account/lockbox analysis.  This position will be responsible for the creation, standardization, and maintenance of the Treasury Operations Center of Excellence.

Essential Functions:

  • This position reports to the Treasury Manager and has no direct or indirect reports

  • Must be able to work in the office 5 days per week and report for key business processes as needed

  • Bank Account Governance and Support:  supports the monitoring, update, and audits for all company bank accounts.  This includes but is not limited to, signature authorities, bank fees, bank rating, FBAR, account rationalization, standardizing account structures, instituting cash pooling structures, and updating policy.

  • Treasury Support Services: Promotes enterprise-wide treasury policies, which includes but is not limited to, the education of internal partners to ensure understanding and adherence to risk controls, aiding in the smooth transition of bank account or bank relationships, and researching and providing direction and support on bank transactions

  • Online Banking: Administer to all banking platforms with the responsibility of ensuring consistent and reliable user controls are implemented and adhered to with regular review procedures

  • Transaction Support:  Responsible for verification that all accounts payable files have been transmitted to the disbursement bank and acknowledgement of the files have been received.  Duties include the preparation of manual local checks, stop payments, one off wires and ACHs, and all research and reconciliation efforts inherent in the duties included as well as reporting and analysis of the support function.

  • LC / Surety Bond Issuance: Responsible for setup, maintenance, and reporting of new and previously issued Letters of Credit, Surety Bonds, and Parent Guarantees

  • Responsible for maintaining the treasury calendar, policy documents, tasks, and support forms

  • Lockbox and Bank Account Analysis: Performs a study of divisional lockboxes and bank accounts. This review ensures timely submission, accurate details and appropriate fees on all accounts while striving for rationalization and automation through technology

  • Develop and maintain a basis of treasury expertise to ensure continuous improvement of products, processes, and services with a focus on proposing, learning, and implementing new technologies to drive best in class performance.

  • Ability to create detailed files and then summarize that data for presentation

  • Ability to successfully navigate, prioritize and problem solve in ambiguous circumstances

  • Strong organizational skills:  history of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.

  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage time-sensitive projects and deliverables

  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as requested by the Senior Director Finance & Assistant Treasurer

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) – intermediate level knowledge

  • Must be able to accurately maintain records and files, establish priorities, work independently, meet deadlines and handle sensitive and confidential material

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Basic accounting skills and familiarity with accounting, banking and insurance terminology

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in relevant area

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Cash Manager (CCM) or Chartered Financial Analyst Certification (CFA)

  • Prior experience in treasury operations and Treasury Management System

  • Data Oriented Individual
