Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform software check out and commissioning for converting fold machines

  • Conduct pre-test line preparation: compilation of checklists, software verification with Technical Office, check of technical and safety requirements necessary for testing

  • Carry out machinery test in compliance with the required technical specifications and scheduling

  • Collaborate with the team on daily technical issues related to processes, machinery, or tools

  • Collaborate in preparing proper documentation records related to test activities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on customer installation to ensure that equipment continues to perform reliably

  • Train customer staff to manage and maintain the equipment

  • Analyse and solve any problems encountered during the testing phase interfacing with internal teams and customer

  • Interface with the customer during testing phase and machine start-up at the customer’s site

  • Offer technical assistance and support remotely or at customer’s site

  • Respect quality standards and established safety procedures

To succeed in this role you should have:

  • Technical Diploma or degree in Electronic, Automation, Information Technology fields

  • Previous experience in a similar role will be preferred

  • Knowledge of Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming

  • Experience with Siemens S7, Tia Portal, Simotion; Rockwell Allen Bradley is highly evaluated

  • Configuration and management of electrical and fluidic systems

  • Good skills in reading and understanding electrical drawings

  • Proficiency in Ms Office

  • Fluent Italian and English

  • Organization and time management

  • Strong team working skills

  • Result and customer oriented

  • Good interpersonal skills and proactive approach to work

  • Availability and willingness to travel
