As a Senior Patent Engineer, your job is to drive and handle the protection of our technology and commercial offerings globally. You will assume responsibility for advising certain business and technology units on Intellectual Property (IP) matters and manage their portfolios in line with the IP strategy. This includes giving recommendations on how to create business value from our IP and how to reduce risks, identifying and evaluating inventions, steering and coordinating external patent agents in drafting and prosecution, and possibly drafting and prosecuting some patent applications yourself. Your work also includes technology follow-ups and investigations of competitors' patents, oppositions and freedom-to-operate analyses.
You will work closely with R&D and Product management, but also with Sales and Service to contribute to the development of new technical solutions and products, and to support enforcement of our Intellectual Property.
Your preferred location would be Gothenburg however we are accepting applications from other areas in Sweden, such as Karlstad, Stockholm or Sundsvall.
